The dates for accepting applications are June 18, 2019 – July 2, 2019. Please note, all applications will be accepted up to the closing date.

Please be sure to complete all sections of the application to include detailed employment and educational history as well as any gaps in employment (i.e., attending school, unemployment, etc.) as well as any relevant certifications. Participating members of the Southern Nevada Regional Fire Recruitment will not accept resumes in lieu of the official employment application. Clark County does not require EMT and other certifications and/or licenses at time of application. All other departments included in the Southern Nevada Regional Recruitment may require an EMT-Basic, Southern Nevada Health District EMT-Basic, National Registry of EMT-Basic or other certifications and/or licenses at time of application. Please refer to specific requirements of each Fire Department for more details.

HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS

To receive Veteran’s Preference Points, you must attach a copy of your DD-214 documenting an Honorable Discharge to your employment application. Disabled veterans must also attach a letter from the Veteran’s Administration verifying disabled status.
